Questions...

A couple of questions(2 actually :) ).
1. Can vBulletin work with public server providers e.g. Angelfire, Geocities, etc. or do you need your own private server?
2. Does vBulletin require MySQL?

You definitely need a server that has MySQL & Php - I know that geocities, angelfire and those type of free sites do not have this capability.

If you do a search on this site, you will see a lot of recommendations for free and inexpensive hosting options that do have php & mysql.

Thanx a million. Ya just saved me the trouble of getting vBulletin to work on me *cough* server. :D

BTW...what should I search for when looking for PHP/MySQL "enabled" servers?

well, you could look in the Hosting forum here for starters. just scroll down the main page.

also, you can search for hosts at http://www.hostsearch.com using set criteria such as scripting languages, price, etc...
