(FIXED) Urgent query about strange time skew...

    Hi,

I have just been informed that posts and other timestamps on the board are 11 hours wrong even though DST is not invoked and the GMT offset is +10.

I note that the timestamp at the bottom of the index page is CORRECT. When I post however I see that it is stamped 11 hours in the past.

The server is reporting the correct time and emails are being stamped correctly.

I have been through all the options to see if I have somehow borked something but all is as it has been for ages.

    Code:
    helios etc # w
     19:30:18 up 6 days, 9:29, 2 users, load average: 0.54, 0.56, 0.72
USER TTY LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT
    root tty1 14May09 6days 0.03s 0.01s -bash
    stardots pts/0 18:48 0.00s 0.02s 0.03s sshd: stardotstar [priv]
this is just now and correct.

Look at the screengrab showing the time at the bottom of the board and the time of the last post (just made...) Very wired.

at least one member is reporting the correct time is displaying but I am not sure if they mean the bottom of the index pages or the post time stamp

Looks like a theme/style thing - I have created a reverted default style and its ok - so into the troubleshooting.

Sorry about the post please delete if you wish.
