    Forums not instantly marked as read

    I recently upgraded from Phpbb 2.0.22 to vBulletin 3.7.3. I noticed that after you read all the new threads, or replies, in the forum, the forum is not marked as Read instantly, and still displays the new posts icon.

    So far, everything has been working great except for that one thing.

      Set this:

      Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Thread/Forum Read Marking Type -> Database (automatic forum marking)

      And this:

      Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Database Read Marking Limit

      The first time you set this all posts will show up as unread because the database marking is new. Once you mark the forums as read everything will work fine.
