Where are default mod, super mod, admin permissions stored?

I know i can go into:

Forums & Moderators > Show All Moderators > [Edit Permissions]

Which will allow me to change permissions of mods, etc.

Where are the default yes/no permissions stored for when someone gets added to the group?

I'd like it so i can manually add a moderator by changing groups without having to manually set each individual permission (which creates possibility of errors). eg. hard delete x 5, mass move/prune, etc.

With admin there is a setting in config.php as well as

admincp > usergroups > administrator permissions > edit individual admin permissions.

I am not sure on individual super mods or moderators.
