Hello,
I have a forum where you have to register to view the forum.
I would like the blog itself public and viewable while the forum is closed
off to viewers unless registered.
I'm having a difficult time with the usergroups and permissions trying to figure out how to achieve this. The forum permissions are fine. But the blog is being blocked unless registered just as I have the forums set. I have set the usergroup permissions to allow non registered to view others blogs as well as post feedback to "others" blogs. But yet it still gets blocked by the main forum must register first to view. Are the main vb permissions not allowing the blog permissions to work?
I purchased the vb blog simply for the integration and fine tuned permission system. I sure hope I can get out of this what I'm after. If not, it's certainly a show stopper and a waste of fifty bucks.
Any suggestions?
