    Importing plugin

I've tried numerous times to import a plugin. I've tried uploading the file from my computer and importing it from the server. Neither works.

When uploading from my computer, I get the message:

No file uploaded and no local file found.

When importing from server, I get:

No file uploaded and no local file found.

The filename I browse for is on my desktop locally: capboupc.xml

When I try to import the file, I've tried these paths:
    /includes/xml/capboupc.xml
    ./includes/xml/capboupc.xml

We're using vBulletin v3.6.2 with vbSEO 3.0 installed.

    Any ideas?

    Does the test upload work?

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Upload

If it doesn't work then that might explain the problem. We will need the output of the resulting page from the test upload.

If it does work then I don't know why the product upload isn't working. We can take a look if you submit a trouble ticket with your forum and server info.

The only thing I see that could cause this is that your 'upload_tmp_dir' setting is empty. You (as root) or your host will need to edit php.ini and set 'upload_tmp_dir' to point to the full path to a directory on the server that is chmod'd to 777.

You will also need to restart Apache after making this change.

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

This is a Windows box, which may be why I have no idea what "chmod'd to 777" means. We're running IIS, not Apache.

Then you need to create that directory, make it world-readable and writable, then edit php.ini as described above.

Create which directory? /includes/xml/capboupc.xml already exists within the hosting space. As I described above, I don't know what you mean by chmod 777

As I said you need to create an 'upload_tmp_dir' and edit php.ini to point this setting to that directory.

That did the trick. php.ini said if it's not set it would use system default. Anyway, changed it from nothing to c:\temp. Thanks for the help!
