I'm pretty sure this would be a false security flaw! I don't believe in people who claim fixing vBulletin security flaws without contacting Jelsoft directly & privately!

This is social engineering. There is no security issue. The code that is supposed to fix the issue is designed to allow remote code execution.

Never accept patches from unofficial sources.
