[Discussion] Spanish language pack 3.6.1

Works with vBulletin 3.6.1

Special attention has been put on this translation, all phrases were translated "in context", meaning they were looked up in the forum to see how and where they were being used. Caution has been put in grammar and spelling, but please by all means pm me if you find an error.

Installation instructions

• Go to your admin control panel and find the "Download/Upload Languages" link
• Click on the "Browse (Examinar)" button, and lookup the file in your computer. Click on "import"
  
• In the "Language Manager" click on "Set Default" to make the Spanish Language Pack the default for the forum

Esta es una actualización al language pack anterior, y funciona a partir de la versión vBulletin 3.6.1

Se ha puesto un cuidado considerable en esta traducción para que "tenga sentido", todas las frases se tradujeron en contexto, lo cuál quiere decir que primero las buscamos en el foro para ver como y donde se estaban usando y después fueron traducidas. Hemos intentando cuidar mucho la ortografía y si encuentran algún error siéntanse en libertad de enviarme un pm.

¿Cómo instalarlo?

• En el panel de control de administrador dirígete a "Download/Upload Languages"
• Da clic en el botón de Examinar y buscar el archivo en tu computadora (sácalo del zip primero, por supuesto), y da clic en "import"
  
• En la parte de "Language Manager" da clic en "Set Default" para hacer que este lenguaje sea el predeterminado. Una vez hecho esto el foro debe cambiar al idioma español.

Thanks for this language pack... I'm trying to figure out why the AM and PM do not show on the times??

Awesome work with the translations. I don't speak spanish, but I've been told by the members that it works really well.

I did, however, make some changes to the above file because a lot of the error messages were still in the old vbformat ... for example,

Ya estás registrado en el foro bajo el nombre de $username. Si perdiste tu contraseña puedes dar clic aquí. Si quieres modificar tu perfil da clic aquí.

was showing up. The $username needed to be replaced by {1} ... I did this in about 40 odd messages by searching for '$' in the phrases.

There is definately something up with the dates and times... Most of the time I see the date/time codes rather than the actual time. Is there something I can do to fix it?

check language manager->edit options and delete the custom format in

Si funciona, pero de una forma curiosa, instalé el Foro 3.6.4 en un nuevo servidor por traslado, luego recuperé la copia de seguridad hecha del antiguo servidor con Vb 3.6.1
y lo tengo todo en castellano, perfectamente, incluso con las modificaciones que le hice al lenguaje (por. ej. cambié 'liga' por 'enlace'

Use este lenguage en 3.6.4 y el text con apostrofes en los menus aparecen con ????? He puesto ya UTF-8 en panel de control y hasta en el lenguage y nada, el texto de los menus aparece en ????

Sin embargo no tengo problemas con el content de los mensajes, los nombres de foros, etc. Solamente con el texto de los menus. Alguien puede ayudar?

Thanks Malmazan. I got support to help me and they rebuilt the language file so I didn't have problems. They are about to upload a rebuilt Spanish language file.

Gracias malmazan por tratar de ayudarme. Hice un support ticket anoche y support me dijo que el problema que tenia era con el lenguage file. Dijo que el lenguage file en Espanol estaba mal y que me estaba causando problemas y que iba a reconstruirlo y subirlo a este foro para que lo bajemos. Ahora mi foro completo display correctamente. Asi que si tienen problemas busquen el lenguage nuevo de 3.6.4 que vbulletin pondra para bajar.

please provide the file here on vb.com, because it is not very polite to force visitors to register and participate to your forum just to be able to download the language file...
