Hotmail treats my confirmation email as junk email:

I know this problem has been mentioned here many times.

I am told to start a new thread here.

I just want to know:
Is there no solution at all?

I will look at this next week.

The problem is that these services begin treating an email as junk when enough people assign it as junk. We may need to adjust the text again so that it no longer triggers the hounds.

Currently your only options are:

1. Setting the '-f parameter':

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Email Options -> Enable "-f" Parameter -> Yes

2. Switching to SMTP Email:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Email Options -> SMTP Email -> Yes

Then fill out the appropriate SMTP settings for your account and server.

FWIW hotmail doesn't have any problems with emails from this forum or my personal forums.
