Are there any tutorials that explain how to instal vb on a localhost? The documentation explains it for a remote server, but does not explain a dev site setup. I already have a localhost site on my computer and I have no clue how to work around that. I tried to run the instal and all it did was go to my old localhost site.

xampp looks great yet I have the same problem that i had with easy php, port 80 is still being used by plone. I changed the port in the plone setup, but that didn't work.
There is no place for xampp to allow me to change a port. Besides I would not know what port to change it to.Comment

To change a port, add the address lines for that port. For example, to run Plone on port 90 instead of the default, change the following bold line in zope.conf:
Code:<http-server> # valid keys are "address" and "force-connection-close" address 80 # force-connection-close on </http-server>
Code:<http-server> # valid keys are "address" and "force-connection-close" address 90 # force-connection-close on </http-server>
Code:## PLONE_WEBSERVER_PORT ## -------------------- ## This is the port you will access your Plone site from. Set this to a port ## number above 1024 not used for any other server on your computer. %define PLONE_WEBSERVER_PORT 80
Code:%define PLONE_WEBSERVER_PORT 90

Once XAMPP is installed, you would follow the same instructions as installing vBulletin on your webserver.Translations provided by Google.
