expanding postbit for large images.. where/how?

In the default vB style, when someone posts an image that is wider than the fixed width of the forum, the postbit that the wide image is in expands, but the rest of the forum stays the correct width...

I've made some changes to the style and this has stopped working (now all the pages content expand)

Can anyone point me in the direction of what controls this please?

Probably surrounded the page in a table rather than a div, that would do it.
