Can You Buy Owned VB License, After Having A Leased?

    Hi guys.

    Just a really simple pre-sales Q here.

If I decide to purchase a leased VB license. Come the time when I have to renew, is there the option to buy an owned license?

    Cheers

Yes, but you'd have to pay the full price of an owned license.

Within the first month you can upgrade your leased to an owned for a further $85

          Similar question...

I currently have a leased license (expiring in a few months). I'd like to upgrade to an owned license. Can I buy a "previously owned" license from someone?.. and if so, would I have to re-install?

I've read all the stuff about the scammers and the fake vBulletin licenses out there and I'd make sure its legit before paying.

..just looking for the cheapest option

          thanks

As the licenses would have different license numbers, you would need to upload the 'owned' licensed files to your server, overwriting the existing ones but you wouldn't need to completely reinstall.
