When I download a style it is being truncated, which makes it pretty much useless for any sort of recovery. Is there any to prevent this from happening?

On my forums when I download any style the vbulletin-style.xml is incomplete. This has never been a problem until recently. Is there a size limit or something? I have two styles and both are getting truncated when I tried to back them up. Is there a way to dump the style to disk or get it through FTP?Comment

It seems like it is at the same spot each time. How do I check the memory_limit? Is it a Linux setting or Apache maybe?Originally posted by Scott MacVicar

Looks like it is 8 megs. The files are getting cut off at about 500k but each seems to be a different size but cutting off at exactly the same spot in one of the templates. When I download it, it looks like the download is completed but when you look it is cut off right in the middle of a template so uploading fails every time.

I am having the same problem.
All xml style exports are ending short.
The last tag on every XML file is </sty
My memory limit is at 8MB. It does not matter how large the xml file is, it always stops at same tag. I've tried multiple styles as well. Defualt vBulletin ends at the same place. Any help appreciated.Last edited by tgillespie; Sat 3 Jun '06, 3:22pm.Comment

Replacing includes folder with a fresh copy fixed it. If anyone ever runs into this in the future, try reuploading vbulletin files.Comment
