Enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this problem.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Public phpinfo() Display Enabled

Your open_basedir path is wrong you have

/home/yesfan1/ where your script path is clearly /home/yesfans/

You have open_basedir restrictions on your server. To get uploads to work you need to create a 'tmp' subdirectory under your main directory and chmod it to 777. Then in the Admin CP set "Upload In Safe Mode?" to 'Yes' and point the "Safe Mode Temp Directory" to that directory. If you placed the tmp directory in the right place, the path to the Safe Mode Temp Directory will be:

            /home/yesfan1/tmp

But as Scott pointed out there may be a discrepancy on your true path. If the above doesn't work then you need to contact your host.

Look at the error message you posted.

The script is not in the directory that open_basedir things, check php.ini to make sure you have the correct directory set.

                          No, php.ini.

You can ask your host for a proper path to your attachments directory.

I have been copying the text here, they are saying...

Your location on the server is /home/yesfan1, there is not /home/yesfan. You'll need to locate where it is misstyped in the vbulletin configuration file and correct that.

is that the file path that is wrong I assume? yesfans is the OLD path from my prev server. I just moved to a new server. Is there a file somewhere, a php file on my side that needs to be changed to /home/yesfans1 from the /home/yesfans?????
