Unsure Of Source Board??

This may perhaps be a stupid question but what if I want to import what may very well be a custom made, one-off BB board?? I do have some knowledge of php development / modification and aside from the obvious 'view source' any other suggestions and /or possibilities??

It Occurred to me

that just because no 'copyright' information exists (other than own company name) doesn't mean in was in fact developed 'in house' correct??

Jerry, can you indeed tell simply by viewing the source?? Familiar??? I have downloaded Impex and am looking at it hard but I would assume you'd advise against 'trial & error'!!

Sorry roosevelt. I am in the process of importing a board but wasn't sure of the source type and I thought it was going to be a major production, After some investigative research however I found my companys name (and administrator) on the creators website . . .

In other words, answered my OWN question out load sort of speak. I also see that NOT having admin privledges on the source board is not going to enable me to do this , right?? I only have 'user' access and nothing more.
