Test Import

Hi everybody

I'm trying a test import out from phpBB to vbulletin. I have backed up the db and was wondering if I can upload this to a folder on the web server and then link to it for the test import.

If I can, do I leave the location set as localhost, then enter db name as the file saved, or will i need to add the full path instead of localhost. I'm using impex and this is where these settings are for.

Any ideas?

That file is the SQL backup, you'll need to restore that file into the MySQL database then set ImpEx to use that database as the source for the import.
