Change loaction of PHP.INI in Forum

Hi
I host my forum on a shared hosting account, but the php.ini file max upload size is 2M. I asked them if they could raise it to 20M. I was told to upload a php.ini file in my forum directory and make the changes there. I done that but the forum won't detect the PHP.INI I uploaded.

Where can I set the path of the php.ini I uploaded in the forum settings?

This is something handled by php and is not controlled by the forum software, you should check the phpinfo page within the admin panel and see the php.ini configuration path at the top.

If it is incorrect then you'll need to speak to your host again.
