Is there any reason why one of my users would be seeing "Unread 1" in the PM area when they also inform me there are no PM's waiting to be read!!

I have Steve, but I disabled the plugin system, selected default vB template and it is still showing for this user... weird eh!Comment

First, make sure this user has read all his PMs, then run this query:
UPDATE pm SET messageread='1' WHERE userid='xxx';
