Many of you that have non-english boards have the encoding problem in e-mails (and download thread hacks and generally anywhere that plain text is displayed) when AJAX is used.
What is Jelsoft's response to that???
See by yourself:
So what can we understand from the above?
That Jelsoft and the vBulletin staff don't give a s**t about non-english forums unless they use unicode (how many of you that have non-english forums use unicode??? I haven't seen any in Greece). They know and admit that it's almost impossible to switch to unicode if you have a forum that is working and they admit that there is no other solution than... switching off AJAX. Well, that would actually be a solution if there was such an option!
But why noone tries to fix it??? Maybe they don't know how to fix it and don't want to admit? Because that's what one undersatnds if he reads between the lines. And it's not a trivial bug so that one can say "oh well, who cares". Imagine if in most of your e-mail noticications the message was not readable! Imagine if you couldn't change a thread title via AJAX because it would not be readable. The admins that have non-english forums don't need to imagine, they are actually going through this admin-nightmare and nobody seems to care.
I wouldn't bother if the Staff said that they are trying to fix it, but they don't care!!! If they did, I would just wait patiently. But right now... I can't stand such support behavior for a product that I paid for.
If you have this problem state it here and/or vote in the poll so that Jelsoft can see that we are a lot and reconsider about fixing it.
