AJAX Fix - Quick Reply, etc, etc.

For those who are having trouble with any AJAX problem that you know should work, do CTRL-F5 because that will clear your files and reload the correct javascript files for AJAX to work correctly.

Edit: This includes if you are using Quick Reply and it reloads a page instead of posting it directly. This is the big one in which you might need to do CTRL-F5.

If CTRL+F5 does NOT work, simply clearing out your cache will work just as well

It doesn't work 100% of the time from what I've observed. I tried that when vB.com implement AJAX technology and CTRL+F5 didn't work. So I did a hard delete on those files, and AJAX worked.

Ctrl + F5 will only work on Firefox, not Internet Explorer.

I should note that control+F5 doesn't do anything for safari. Though most people using it would already be aware of this...

Yeah, I sure did. But you didn't mention Safari. Also, it doesn't work for firefox mac, either.

Really? Ctrl+F5 seems to do more for me in IE than a simple F5.

ctrl + F5 works for almost any browser in Windows, it might not work in non windows systems.

You should clear your cache, which is what a hardrefresh does

Someone told me it didn't work. Maybe they were mistaking.
