After upgrading from ipb, the search results page doesn't come up with results from threads that were made before the upgrade to vb... how would I be able to fix this?

Rebuild the search index. You need to do this to add the IPB posts to the postindex table.
Admin CP -> Import & Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Rebuild Search IndexSteve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)
