Child Forums

Just wondering, if I want to make Forum B a child forum of Forum A, how do I get a link to show up for the child forum on the index page?

I already had both of them as seperate forums. I went in and changed Forum B to a child forum of Forum A. It is there when I click on Forum A, but it doesn't show as a link underneath on the forum main index page.

Is this a hack?

Try playing with these settings until you get what you want:

Admin CP -> vBulletion Options -> Forum Listings Display Options ->

- Depth of Forums - Forum Home
- Depth of Forums - Forum Display
- Depth of Sub-Forums

I think you are looking for this setting:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Forum Listings Display Options -> Depth of Sub-Forums

Set this to something other than 0.

Thanks guys, I have it set to 3 but still nothing.

If I go into the parent forum, then I ca see the child forum at the top.
But for some reason the child forum doesn't show as a link below the parent on the index page. Any other ideas?

Level 3 subforums? Or one of the other depth settings. If one of the other, then see this thread.
