Online Ordering

Hi i am starting a site and i would like to have some sort of online ordering system integrated into my html pages. Does anyone know of any sites or anything that offer the scripts or packages etc. I would prefer a free option however am willing to compomise if i see the advantages of paying. I woul like it to have a kind of cart system etc. Please post any links etc you may have here.

PayPal has a decent shopping cart system for free, if you have an account there.

wil my users be able to know that it is paypal, in terms of them advertising etc?

They don't have ads, but they do display their logo on the order page.

Yes. But the sign-up is fairly simple, as easy as signing up at your local BestBuy.com or Outpost.com store and buying something.

It's like any other online registration.

Name, address, password, etc., plus the credit card details.

Yeah, i think not many people will botehr registering for the paypal thing not sure why but thats how it is. Any other methods systems? please help me i need it asap.

Theres a one off setup fee & you'll need a business bank account, but it'll do what you want.

2checkout only accept transactions by USD though. With Revecom you can accept them in GBP if thats what you want. I think the transaction fees workout a bit better. I've used them both, prefered Revecom. Both good though.

Paypal's ordering process is just as simple as any other online store. You enter your name, address, credit card details and you enter a password.

I have been using it on my site successfully for several months.

I'm using them. The support is absolutely awful, so if you don't know what you're doing - don't bother with them. I haven't had to use their support yet, but a glance at the forums shows how bad the situation is.

I'd go with PayPal if you are unsure, from what I know (I don't use their merchant services) it's pretty easy to use.
