I noticed that as well. It makes it difficult to help ppl out in the template sections.

It's not a bug, it's by design.

Hehe, sorry....ppl = people. It is just shorthand, a pretty bad habit of mine

OK - sorry for that, was just too inviting

I experienced this "effect" some time ago, too and it would be great if this can be solved somehow...

Tom thought I should post this here, so:
If you don't want replacement variables ({xxx}) to be parsed the vB system, you can place or somewhere inside the tag.

Don't surround it with the tags, put the tags somewhere in the middle of the {xxxx}. For example, {xxxxxxx}.

bgcolor="{tableheadbgcolor}"

OK thx, its OK for a short template but if you have a long template its very dificult or it lasts a long time to insert all the [ b] or [ i]

I hope in the next version is it possible to turn it off

I'm working on a little code that will remove all { and } from the post itself, just like < and >. Can't be that hard...

By the way, you still didn't do it right...
If I use this code: bgcolor="{tableheadbgcolor}"
The result will be bgcolor="{tableheadbgcolor}"
