That's an odd error. Reupload the vB3 files. Make sure you upload all the non-image files as ASCII and that you retain the directory structure of the zip file.
Also check your file directory and permissions. Directories should be at least 755 and files 644.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

by Kent55Hi, I was running a fresh install of vBulletin 5.0.2 and I manually filled in the config.php file then uploaded the files to my server, but when I run the install script I am given the make config file...
