How...Order forums in alphabetical order?

I've got a bunch of subforums with their orders all set to "1". I assumed it would sort them alphabetically, but it isn't.

These forums, under community.

They are sorted by display order but there is no secondary sort, so they automatically appear in the order they were added.

The answer is just number them alphabetically.

Ok that's annoying. /me goes and hacks a secondary sort in...

/me realizes its 1 am and he's too tired to figure it out right now.

We've got over 260 separate topics right now - and it's only going to increase. Is there anything that will help us automate alphabetizing them?

I was talking about forums themselves, not the threads within a forum. To organize the threads, just click on "name" above the thread list.

there is a hack to do it by setting the sort value on the thread display...may be over at vbulletin.org...I remember somebody posting it somewhere....if you find it I need it too..if not let me know and I'll try to hack it myself...

I did a search over there for alphabet* and it came up with nothing. Can't think of any other possible keyword for it though.

try "forum order" or "alpha* forum"???

You can also click on the Thread Title heading to sort them by alpha...
