Horizontal postbit is bad anyway, I'll always use the vertical ('legacy') postbit. It will be available in 4.0 so no problem.
But this screenshot is just a mockup. First of all there are no avatars, that's what is making it look strange. And secondly quotes are always going to be indented, that's a good thing.
So I wouldn't worry about this.Comment

Kier design was alot better than the current screen shots.

That postbit is a mess. It is not a natural flow down the page. It needs avatars. It needs to be the legacy version. The quotes need to be separated from the post better. There needs to be a space between the post and the quote and the post and the edit message. I'm guessing it'll be even worse with signatures.
I suppose that all is easy enough to change.
And so much for integration. We still get the generic "Blogs: 2" instead of something like "Latest blog: This is the blog title."Comment

Does anyone know if the hover/highlight thing over the posts has been done away with? I was never crazy about that idea.Comment

Overall I prefer the newer one, though I did like Kier's attempts at redesiging how the "views/replies" blocks were laid out. This seems to have been done away with and it's reverted to the vB3 look, which is a shame.
However I agree the postbit's a complete mess I'm afraid. Don't like the layout, don't like the quotes, far too busy and confusing. That needs work.
Otherwise, very promising.MARK.B

The lack of avatars is probably just because Internet Brands haven't enabled the option on their test forums. There'll probably be a legacy version, like in version 3. But, I guess the rest is valid, and I'd definitely agree with the blog stats improvement aspect.
It will still need smartening up though. I'd go as far as to say it looks pretty awful in the screenshots, which is odd as the rest of the style is pretty good.MARK.B

I like Kier's version, it was clean, tidy and sort of flashy. Its a shame Kier is no longer here.
I am not a fan of the navbar though, looks too much like IPB. Should have made something completely unique.Jut a random internet person.
