Language pack for vBulletin 3.7 translated by Alacer and sponsored by Applinet. We translated 3.7 release candidate 3. This pack is 'fresh from the press' and hasn't received much testing or feedback yet, so please handle with care. I have a question. I just upgraded my testsite to vB 3.7 and installed your vB 3.7 dutch language pack. I don't quite understand how it works with the Blog. You provide an additional language pack for the Blog, but how do I install it in vB?

Do I use this screen, like explained in the manual? And if yes, what options do I have to set / in other words do I overwrite the existing applinet vB 3.7 language pack or?

Yes (the download screenshot is out of date, but that shouldn't cause you any problems).

Just import it the way you import the main language pack. The phrases are in a separate product category / phrase type, so they won't overwrite the phrases of the main product.

I am very glad there's a professional translation available now, because not only does it serve our own professional sites: it also becomes possible to produce vBulletin webforums for other Dutch companies now. Without this professional translation this wouldn't be possble (or we have to hire someone ourselves). So thumbs up!

There's a bug in this translation that causes an error message on the page of a social group ('interessegroep'). On the top of the page you'll see:

Groep aangemaakt door [ARG:3 UNDEFINED]

The cause is that we did not properly update phrase group_created_by_x in our translation. To fix the problem, goto

AdminCP > Languages & Phrases > Search in Phrases

Change the current content of group_created_by_x in the Dutch translation from:

Groep aangemaakt door <a href="member.php?{1}u={2}">{3}</a>

to:

Groep aangemaakt door <a href="{1}">{2}</a>

As you'll see in the phrase manager, the coding and parameters then match those of the standard phrase.

This is in the bug database as issue 25374 (status: not a bug). This will of course be fixed in the next update of our translation.

Phrase edit_signature should not be in phrasegroup global, as there is no MASTER phrase edit_signature in that phrasegroup.

So this phrase becomes language ID 0, overriding other languages edit_signature in phrasegroup user.

You're right, sort of. We'll remove phrase "edit_signature" from phrase type "User Tools (global)". The one in phrase type "GLOBAL" remains. Thanks.
