How about a flaming topic icon like the one they have on the UBB. I could just put that one in put I like the vB envelopes images.

How about flaming envelope - anyone?

Here's some I modified. They have the vB folders....for anyone who likes the flame folders. I stole the flames from the ones above.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention....first two are blue & the last two are grey, if you can't exactly tell. The new hot folders are the same in either button set.

I figured someone would like them. I just have a thing about fire, and none of the others I've found match the vB folders.

I uploaded all of the folders but my members say they never show the topics read. The folders allways stay open.

    Any ideas??

    Thanks

I thought you said they were showing? What do you mean by open? The folders will remain on fire, once the topic goes hot. The folder behind the fire will change, so to speak.(actually the entire image changes) There's a read hotfolder, dothotfolder, newhotfolder, and dotnewdotfolder. It should work exactly the same as before, only threads that match or exceed your hot level will show fire. They're the same folders with the same names. The only difference is the fire.

Yes they show the fire but they always look unread. As in the evelope allways looks like there is a new post even after you read it.

New hot topics should look like this.

Read hot topics will look like this.

Uh, I checked your board. It looks right to me. I didn't register though. Are you saying they just never change after you view them? I'm not sure what could cause that. As long as you have two different images for read and unread, it should change.

yes but unforyunatly the read topics never showed that they were read, they always showed that they were unread posts.

    Cheers

Strange, they work for me. Must be something weird going on with your board. The only thing that could cause that would be filenames....that I can think of anyway.
