Hi, I'm running my website w/ 4000/5000 visitors a day and approx 40 GB traffic each month...

I was with Pair.com but wasn't satisfied w/ them and moved over to Site5.com which is a hell; The server is often down (almost every day) along w/ the mysql server...So I'm searching a really good fast and reliable host now...

I want to go dedicated but my bannerincome is not that high to afford it (yet). So I can pay something about $150 - $200 a month

I heard alot of good stuff about VServers and this might be a good package for us: http://www.hostpro.com/hosting/shared/v_merchant.html

Can anyone confirm that this really is a good host? Because I wanna stick for some time with a good host now and not have to move over and over again...

    Just to make sure...

Yes, I'm pretty happy with HostPro. We use their NETplus package, which I think is the only one of their shared solutions that supports Java Servlets. (We need servlets to run our online game.)

Granted, we're a relatively new & small site, and we only recently added the forum. So I'm not sure how well HostPro will do under pressure. But so far everything's fine and installation/customization was relatively painless.

    I hope this helps...

Looks good and very cheap, I see that postgresql is installed but you can install your own database server can you?

that is basically what i have but with 256MB ram. I got before sql was installed and a friend did it for me. Had to re do php as well but still they are pretty good.

It is 95% percentil bandwidth calculation. Do other webhosts use this?

How much do you pay extra for the extra RAM? I think 256 would be allright and 128 just too little
