The server we are hosted on is up and down at regular intervals at present. Our admin is doing all he can to improve the situation but as he is a friend and is doing this as a special deal it is awkward to jump on him for it!
I have been contacted by another company which I have dealings with through our site and they are offering us space on their server. But the question is, what should I be looking for ? I've not had to buy server space for so long now I have no idea and, to be honest, I didn't understand all that much of the content of this forum!
What sort of specs should I be looking for ?
