[Forum] User Profiles Style Problems

After upgrading my vBulletin forum software from 4.0.7 to 4.0.8, this problem has crop up. Basically user profiles are cream crackered! Some of the text is the same colour as the background, as well as the buttons black and white. I've shown it in the attached image so you know what I mean.

How do I fix this? I've been trying for a while now.

I think I might be missing some StyleVars, any ideas how to fix?

I'm sorry, I don't understand. I forgot to add that it's normal for the Default Style, but all wrong for my custom style. :S

Ok, I wanted to go into my problem further, it's been going on for too long now.

The customise user profiles system is causing problems with my vBulletin 4.0.8 software. I upgraded from version 4.0.7 to 4.0.8 a few days ago, I patched a few of the problems with the style, but I can't get my head around this. The user profiles display correctly in the default style, but on my custom style it doesn't. Some of the text is the same colour as the background, the buttons and tabs are black, as well as some minor details displaying incorrectly.

I've attached an image of my problem again, please can somebody help me find out what is going on.

There is an issue with how it's working across multiple styles - 4.0.9 should fix this.

the only thing you can change at the moment is the background color for profile sidebar, last time this color is used for profile quickreply editor background.
style manager> style name> stylevars> common > tabslight selected background

so you must put some darker background to make the text readable

Important thing is to get colors from the current new sidebar stylevars not hardcoded colors.

I cannot find where you get the text colors. Its not using the sidebar text color but from vbraw call in userprofile.css like

color: {vb:raw moduleinactive_link_color};
}


the only problematic color is

Inactive Module Text Color& Inactive Module Link Color that has the same color: #2f4456
in all my skins this color is fixed not change according the style.





I hope you can convey this to programmer because I dont want to report is as bug. I hate bug report. People there just want to get rid bug reported without investigating or if user submit it and not following it they just closed it.

The following values are the ones that keep reverting to #ffffff

Inactive Module Text Color
Inactive Module Link Color
Button Text Color

vb 4.1.2

How can I solve this ? every time i save the values they just revert back - this only happens with the "My profile" link - no where else.

the only way i could fix this was by manually deleting the SQL table entry in customprofile
