Get the config.php file from the vb 4.0.5. package, open it up and enter the db infos of the db where your forum resides on and upload it at the includes folder and run the upgrader. I assume that you have already overwritten your forum files with the files from the vb 4.0.5. package.

It is called config.php.new. First rename it config.php and then make the edits. Hope it helps.

                    Make sure that:

                    1. You've downloaded the correct files
                    2. You've uploaded them all overwriting what's on your server currently (except install/install.php)
                    3. You've deleted the old config.php file and renamed the config.php.new file to config.php
                    4. You've entered the correct details in the config.php file for your database*

                    * This is the most common reason for these errors, wrong database name or wrong database table prefixes (including spelling errors)

Once you've checked these, re-run the upgrade script
                    Vote for:

                    - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
                    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)
