Categories?

Ok, so I created some categories for various sections on my CMS.

The problem I'm having is that the categories of a higher section are showing in the lower sections categories.

Basically I want ONLY the categories I have specifically assigned to appear in the sections I set them.

Is this even possible? (please say yes...heh)

Currently there are three widgets: bottom-up, top-down, and all. It's on the list to write a "this section only" but we haven't done it yet. Sounds like you want to use the "top-down" widget. Just go to
admincp > cms > widgets
and create a new widget of the "top-down" category type (unless you already have one. You might), then go to
admincp > cms > layouts
remove the bottom-up widget and replace with your new top-down.

Thanks Edwin, I had to create an additional layout and then swap layouts depending on whether I needed the top-bottom or bottom-top widget. I have it working now, but please bump the "only in this section" feature up a rank or so in your list if you can. =) With that, I wouldn't have the need for an extra layout right now. Thanks again!
