    [Forum] 100 Character limit for file name downloads

    Is there anyway I can increase the character limit for file name downloads ? It seems that I can upload some .PDF with 120 characters, but when I download that it cuts off the file name to 100 characters which can confuse people l

    Is there an option / setting somewhere ?

      The field is a varchar(100) in the database (attachment table). So, you'd have to change it in the database.

          Thanks Lynne for the tip. Now I just need to see if this is okay to change with the DB admin.
