    Update: 4.0.2 Status

Just a quick update to say that, barring any unforeseen issues, 4.0.2 is still on track for a Feb. 4th release.

Update: Please note that we are delaying the release of 4.0.2 because we are working to improve the quality of this build, primarily issues related to RTL languages and IE browsers. Currently we are targeting the end of next week for this release. While we know this will be a disappointment to some, we feel that it is more important to get these issues resolved in this version rather than pushing them to a future one.

Update: When fixing some of the RTL (right-to-left languages) problems in IE, we discovered that IE6 and IE7 have some very nasty bugs related to RTL and floats. In order to work around this we need to go through all of the css and add some specific css rules for IE6 and IE. The upside is that when we get done a bunch of problems with RTL in IE will be fixed and the rest will be much easier to fix in the future. However in order to make sure these issues are resolved and give QA time to thoroughly test the fixes, the release of 4.0.2 will be delayed until next week. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we feel it's important to get this right instead of pushing these fixes off to another version.
