[Forum] Go to first new post only goes to page

I've just upgraded to vB4. Using the default style. All plugins disabled.

The 'go to first new post' option only seems to be going to the page, not the post. Is this by design now? Does it have to do with the threads being from vb3, meaning new threads will fix themselves?

It is well known problem. Search (if you can) for temporary fix. It was posted here on vb.com. Rumour says it will be fixed in next beta.

"go to last post fix" will search for "post" only. It is great feature of vB4 - mighty search engine striping anything shorter than 5 characters.
Anyway, I have seen such post here on vb.com. Have not subscribed, so can not give exact url.
