The error 'MySQL server has gone away' is a hosting issue I'm afraid - the server your database is on has either, at that moment, gone down or has become uncontactable.

If you continue to get this error, then you need to speak to your hosts to resolve.

    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

Server issues aren't something that's supported here.

When you say you have your own - do you mean physically your own or a dedicated server from a hosting company? If the latter, you need to speak to them...

If you host yourself and getting that error, then you really need a better Computer (Server) to host your site.
Cause that error will keep on coming up lol.
