I just got a report from one of my staff members that when they use EDIT POST, they sometimes get a button that says VOTE NOW to the left of the GO ADVANCED button, under the text box.
The button only says Vote Now but when you click it the edit post is saved. So the button has the wrong label but works.
Has anyone else encountered this bug?

i found the answer, it is a bug in safari and chrome.
something to do with mac's engine.

Yes, I see that too in Google Chrome. It just happened on vbulletin.com/forum itself.
It seems to happen only the first time in a browser session, so when you try again to doublecheck what you saw, the problem is gone.
How can this be caused by a browser bug exactly
I also have this bug. Isn't a phrase a phrase? I don't get how a browser would make a difference.
Has there been a solution for this? It is happening in 3.8 too..
Here is how I replicate it in the latest version of chrome:
Click edit (quick edit), click another link, i.e. the users profile, click back, then click edit..
This also happens to me on 3.8 and Safari.
Yes, happens in Chrome. If you click to edit a post the buttons are all messed up. Vote Now appears, sometimes it says Go, sometimes it says Save, and the ones next to it say different things too.
Sometimes it says Vote where the X should be to close an attachment image. Strange.
