Akismet config - Is it working ?

How can I see that the Akismet key I have entered is working ?

Is there a log file or something within VB that will show its being called and returning results ?

Create a new post with the title 'viagra-test-123' or create a user called 'viagra-test-123' and post with it.

What I was actually looking for was a way to see if the call is even being made.

You would have to check the server logs. vB does not log that info.

Akismet never works for me.

I have my unique akismet key entered with a post threshold of 2 and I am trying to post with a user who has no posts with content/title both as "viagra-test-123". It never contacts akismet or blocks it, and the thread is posted.
