    Installation

Hello am still having problems with installation

I have followed the instructions for installation exactly as they are said here in the manual link below

    http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/uploadpackage

my internet server is 1and1 and am on business pro linux package wich allows php

yet when i do the final bit which is is to click on myurlhere.co.uk/forums/install/install.php

it is asking me to download a file and not showing what it says in a manual

    what is going wrong??

    Many Thanks

This means that either the files were not uploaded correctly (.php files need to be uploaded in ASCII format) or this server is not correxctly parsing .php scripts.

The first thing to try is reuploading the vB files.

No, those are the only reasons I know of for this problem.
