PHP 4.3.11 should work, but i would highly recomend upgrading anyway, as it is a considerably old verison now.

This is a problem specific to GoDaddy hosting but it could happen with any host that disables PHP functions.

You need to ask your host to enable the PHP version_compare() function. That is what is causing this error. Also if you are on GoDaddy, make sure they put you on one of their Linix server. Their Windows servers are crippled for PHP and MySQL applications.

Please do not email or PM me for vBulletin support. I will be more than glad to answer your questions on the vB Forums and in the support system.

Just remember that what happens in localhost, stays in localhost.

Yuck, never use a Windows server, they are the crappiest pieces of junk that you could ever use for hosting.

Please do post such things, there is nothing wrong with a windows server running websites. GoDaddy just has severely crippled their php installations on windows.

I am against Windows Servers, I have tried Windows and Linux, and Linux is the best.
