I was thinking of making a Wikipedia for vBulletin so everyone can contribute to it.

Try vBulletin.org
Running vB since 4-14-2002
I didn't know about that site.Originally Posted by IDN
Thanks a lot, BTW since you posted that thread I made an extension and had over 200 installs (check sig)
What would go on this wikipedia?
Well that gives the history and features. I was thinking more along the lines of explaining what you can do but more indepth than the vBulletin manual.Originally Posted by Quillz
More indepth then the manual?
Have you ever looked through the entire manual? It's huge
If you're missing anything specific feel free to let me know though.

The closer something gets to perfection, the more minute flaws become visible.
Please don't contact me per PM.
I know it's huge but I really want to do this project.
Here's what I have so far. Right now it's empty but more will come.

Today, vBulletin is one of the most popular forum software engines on the internet. It's customizability and overall quality is often said to be unmatched by any other forum software provider. The new upload feature, introduced in v3.5.x has become very popular and has made vBulletin the obvious choice for many consumers.
Maybe add that?
Id like a wiki that was tied in to vbulletin (same user db)
Where only license holders can add to it.Originally Posted by 0ptima

Would be nice if there was an option in Forum Permissions that allowed others to edit others thread/first-post with moderation. Say user A creates a thread, then user B edits that thread. For the edit to take place, either user A or an admin/mod has to approve the edit. Would be a simple wiki.
Good luck with your project.Originally Posted by harmor

Harmor, any chance you'd switch and used the wikipedia styled platform over the tikiwiki? It seems much more friendly![]()
