I've just completed the upgrade, going from 3.0.6 to 3.5.3; for the most part things went smoothly and I received no errors throughout, I'm able to access the admincp and everything else, but: now I find that typing in my forum's URL no longer works unless I append "/index.php" to it. If I don't do so, all I get is a blank screen and I'm not sure why - does anybody have any suggestions I might try?

Delete the index.html or index.htm file(s) inside of your forums folder

Ah, an easy solution - my favourite kind =) Thank you very much for your quick reply, it worked perfectly.
you could also add index.php to your webserver list of files to automatically look for after the url - defaults are index.htm / index.html.
