    PHP Bulletin Board - vBulletin

I am thinking of upgrading our site from our current system to yours. I was just wondering if their is an easy way when we get ready to do it, to tranfer all current forum topics and categories without losing anything?

Looks like they are using phpBB. Yes, that is possible to convert to vB from phpBB. I have done it before using ImpEx (the software that comes with vB to do it) and it worked great.

Okay, thats good. I am planning to integrate the forums directly into the site over the next few weeks and yes the current forum is PHP BB. How is the templating system setup for vBulletin and approx how many template files will I need to change in order to get vBulletin to completly match my site.

If you upgrade within 30 days it will only cost you $85. After 30 days you will have to pay the full $160 for an owned licence.

vBulletin does not store its templates in files. Instead, the 140 or so templates that make up vBulletin's style are stored in the MySQL database alongside the forum data. vBulletin supports multiple styles with inheritance. For instance you could customize the forum and then make a copy of that style with just color changes.
