    Moderated forum.

Hello! I have a new board which I set posts and threads to be moderated for:

    http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/forum...splay.php?f=19

Somebody e-mailed me today saying they made a post, but while logged in, I do not see the post anywhere for me to allow.

    Is there something I'm missing?

    Thanks again.

    - Matt Canning

You can moderate new posts 2 ways:

    1. The Forum Tools drop-down box at the top of forumdisplay

    2. Or if you have 'Quick Stats' enabled on the AdminCP home page you can use the 'Moderate Thread' link.

    To enable 'Quick Stats':

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Admin Control Panel Options -> ontrol Panel Quick Statistics -> Set to Yes

"Have Copy, Will Paste" (when appropriate)

Please do not email or PM me for vBulletin support. I will be more than glad to answer your questions on the vB Forums and in the support system.

Just remember that what happens in localhost, stays in localhost.

    I'm sorry for my confusion...

I set the forum to YES for the following settings:

    1. Moderate posts.
    2. Moderate threads.
    3. Moderate attachments.

I have reports of two people posting with their threads having disappeared. I assumed I would be able to see the posts and just click "make public" or something like that.

I just enabled quick stats. Was I supposed to do this BEFORE I selected the three options above?

Now will I see posts people make while I'm logged in and be able to select an option to make them public?

I just made a new thread as a guest as a test, and I don't see it while logged in.

You need to approve these posts to have them show. I provided the methods to do this in post #2.

I'm sorry for all the questions. I did follow the instructions in #2. I'm still not seeing threads which have been posted in that forum. They seemingly disappeared.

Where is this "moderate thread" link?

I'll continue to browse around until I see where the approval area is. I think a good feature would be e-mail notifications for all posts awaiting approval.

ok, I think I see it now on the main page of the admincp. Thanks for everything.

Any plans on making it possible to moderate posts through the main forum page while logged in (and not the admincp)?
