    vBulletin Mobile Suite - released

The world is going mobile - go mobile with it!
Today we are proud to announce the long awaited vBulletin Mobile Suite which breaks new ground by empowering users to interact with your community via custom-branded iPhone and Android apps is here!
    • Ever wanted to take a photo with your phone, and immediately post it in your favorite forum?
    • Been in an airport and got a reported post and wanted to take action on it right then and there?
    • Wanted to move your forum into the mobile app space? (10 billion app downloads have occurred in the past 3 years…)
    • Looked at expanding your revenue generating options?

The vBulletin Mobile Suite does all this, and more.

The price for both the iPhone and Android app (and other mobile items we are working on) is $199 for 12 months of updates and support.
The Suite incorporates a comprehensive web-based customization providing the ability to maintain the unique character, functionality, and comfort of your vBulletin web presence in an iPhone and Android app. vBulletin handles development work and packages apps for you to submit to your iTunes store and Android marketplaces.

Post from your device, read from it, moderate from it, upload photos from it, customize it, charge for it (if you want!) and advertise through it.
Find out more about it: www.vbulletin.com/mobile

vB3 - 3.7.5+ (will need to install a plugin that we will provide)

We have had reports from customers that our integrated ad client - Adwhirl - has not been sending out registration e-mails.
We have been working with Adwhirl, and are informed that the issue is a result of their e-mail server which is hosted by Amazon's EC2, which has had significant performance issues over the past few days, and caused a number of public outages.
Our tests have indicated that the issue still isn't resolved, but we are working with them to have the service up and running as soon as possible.

In the mean time, you can submit applications without integrated ads, and re-submit them at a later date with ads - as soon as AdWhirl's e-mail system is up and running again.

        An update on AdWhirl.
We are continuing to work with AdWhirl to get a resolution to the issues they are having. Unfortunately alternative options do not offer the flexibility of AdWhirl's platform with integrating multiple advertisers. Alternative Solutions at this stage will limit individuals to one ad provider - we are still both working with AdWhirl to get their issues resolved since the Amazon outage, and also identify the ad provider we feel is best suited to the vBulletin Mobile Suite.

If you are having issues registering with AdWhirl, we would encourage you to post your issue on their support forum: http://groups.google.com/group/adwhirl-users?pli=1

          A further update on Adwhirl.
Their e-mail issues are resolved. If you attempted to apply while they were having issues, you will need to reapply.

          Thanks,
          Adrian
