    [Forum] Paypal subscription set up problem.

    I tried out the subscription process and at the paypal page i got this:

    Invalid Regular period. You must specify valid values for the A3, P3 and T3 parameters for a subscription.
    What happen?

    A3 = Price
    P3 = Subscription Duration
    T3 = Subscription Duration Units

    Something you set isn't appropirate for the PayPal interface.

    What are the subscription specifics you are trying to set?

      Pardon me for my ignorance. I thought by Adding a Subscription with the amount i wanna charged and the period of the subscription, i am good to go, or is it?

      Please enlightened me ENF ( you have been very helpful, Thank you)

        Sorry, should have been a little more clear.

        Can you tell me what values you used to create your subscription?

        Cost, Length, Days/Months/Years etc?

        I think maybe you are exceeding the limits set in the PayPal notes.

        (i.e. you can set a "days" subscription from 1 to 90 days. 91 days would create an error.)

            Ok. you cant use 365 days, but you can use 12 months or 1 year.

            So on the drop down menu at the subscription cost setup, choose months or years and enter 12 or 1 respectively.

              I check out the link that you had provided. i noticed that there is a code for trial period. Is it possible to set up a trial period payment for like 7 days to test out the premium membership forum access for VB forum using paypal?

                Not without modifying the PayPal interface to accommodate it. Those documents are reference material for building and troubleshooting an interface such as the one built into vBulletin.

                You would also have to build in some type of block so that people couldn't repeat a trial period more than once.
