Add option to not display YouTube videos inline (like img tags)

Is it possible to add an option that would display a link to the video instead of the actual video (like you can do with image tags)?

How is that any different from someone just pasting the URL and it turning into a link?

The whole point of the BBcode is to make it do something it doesn't normally do: display inline

The point is certain things like images can be posted and can inherently be not work safe in nature. This allows for the majority of users to display them inline, while those you cannot have that have an option to not have them displayed.
