You can edit the template: SHOWTHREAD

You replace the reply.gif with reply.jpg and threadclosed.gif with threadclosed.jpg

If you need to find more button locations, just ask away and I will find the template(s) for you as much as possible.

atm i am linking to my new buttons to my site images directory. with the forward slash.

          /images (images)
          /forums/ (forum)

My question is where is the best place to store new images for new VB themes?

also when the page loads i can still see blue under the gradient_tcat.gif file. I have changed all the colors in my CSS so i dont understand where the blue is coming from?

                1. Do a template search for 'forum_old.gif' and 'forum_new.gif' and edit the templates conatining these images.

                2. In All Style Options, look for Category Strips and remove the info pointint to this image in the background setting.

If you did it right and you did it to the correct styles then it definitely should work.

another thing i have noticed, is that about 2 weeks ago i gave someone a custom titile, but now no matter what i do i cant remove it it goes in the profile when i save, but then it comes back.

Think maybe my forum has write permission problems or something like that?

I am working on the default style, so there is only one style on my board.

Now when i search for forum_old.gif and forum_new.gif nothing comes up?

I did a template search for forum_old.gif and found two templates:

                          - FORUMDISPLAY
                          - FORUMHOME

If you can't find these then it means you have modified these templates.

yes i already said that i have modified these templates. My problem is that these changes r not being shown.

How can my forum still be showing forum_new.gif and forum_old.gif when these images r not in the code anymore?

Then what did you change those images to in those templates? I really have no way of knowing what changes you made.
